How To Use EL-50448 Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor

Before u use the EL50448 tire pressure sensor tool,make sure u set the car into TPMS Learn Model and follow the car light indication.
Hold it against the sidewall of the tire, near the valve stem. Depress Learn button until u heard horn sound from the car.
 

Step 1 - Enter leaning mode
Set the gearshift lever to "P"
Put the ignition switch to “ON”
Enter the interface of tire pressure display by DIC
DIC shows "Press Set / Ctrl to re-learn"
Press “Set / Ctrl”
The turn signal is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn beep sound twice to enter the learning mode
 
Step 2 - Read tire pressure sensor information
Start from the front-left wheel, 
Make the J-46079 or Diagnostic Tool EL-50448 antenna up against the valve core position & close to the rim of the tire sidewall

Successful to read the tire pressure sensor information when the horn bleeps once
 
Step 3 - Same method to read other tire pressure information
Follow the instuction above to read tire pussure of the front-right, rear-right, rear-left wheels.
Turn signals is lighted for 3 seconds and the horn bleeps twice when the learning is complete.\

When do u need our EL-50448 tire pressure relearn sensor?

• Had new TPMS sensors installed, letting air out or adding air to the tire but couldn’t make the system recognize the new sensors.
• Do tire rotation, did’t have a quick way to let the ECU relearn the new tire information.
• When the tire pressure indicator light of the vehicle is on,the maintenance is performed, the tire pressure needs to be reset, and turn off the TPMS light.
• Too low tire pressure or leakage, replacement or installation of tire pressure monitoring equipment, tire replacement, sensor damage, etc. After those problem are solved, the TPMS needs to be reset.

How to Get into the Learning Mode?

• Make the gear in P position.
• Use cruise to choose TPMS re-learn mode in the dashboard settings.
• Horn will ring twice and the TPMS indicator flashes, then the learning mode has been successfully entered. (If equipped, the message center will display the front left (LF) tire)
• Before tire pressure monitoring system works normally properly, the body control module will record ID information of each position in the tire pressure sensor
